By downloading or using the DetectAI mobile application ("DetectAI," "the App," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

DetectAI allows users to analyze visual content to identify potential AI generation or AI-based alterations. The App supports visual media submitted directly by the user or extracted from publicly accessible links (such as Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts).

3. No Accounts or Registration

DetectAI does not require account creation, email addresses, usernames, or any form of user registration. The App is available for immediate use after download.

4. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you submit to DetectAI.

Content is processed solely for the purpose of providing an AI analysis.
DetectAI does not store, retain, or transmit submitted content to its servers.
Any locally stored scan history (up to the most recent 500 submissions) exists only on your device.

5. Analysis Disclaimer

DetectAI provides probabilistic analysis, not definitive conclusions.

Results are informational only.
DetectAI does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or correctness.
Analysis results should not be used as legal evidence, professional certification, or definitive proof of AI usage.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DetectAI:

For unlawful purposes
To violate intellectual property rights
To attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the App
To submit content you do not have the right to analyze

7. Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DetectAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the App or reliance on analysis results.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
